Cocochè

Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to read our menu, find our shop and get our grand opening news, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology.

Our commitment

We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, on cococheoc.com in both English and Vietnamese. Accessibility is ongoing work, and we keep improving the site as we learn.

What we have done

• The menu is written as real text on the page, not only as pictures, so screen readers can read every item in English and Vietnamese.
• Food photos have written descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a skip link and a clearly visible focus outline.
• Text and buttons are designed to meet WCAG AA color contrast, and the layout adapts to zoom up to 400% and to small screens.
• Moving elements stop when your device is set to reduce motion, and a Pause motion button stops them at any time.
• Form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked in words, and errors are explained in text and announced to screen readers.
• Each page declares its language, and Vietnamese names on the English page (and English names on the Vietnamese page) are marked so screen readers can pronounce them.
• We check the site with automated tools (axe and Lighthouse) and by hand, including keyboard-only and screen reader reviews.
• We do not use accessibility overlay widgets. We fix the site itself.

Known limitations

Links to Google Maps, Instagram and TikTok open other companies’ websites, which we do not control. Our menu is a preview and may change before we open. If something else gets in your way, please let us know so we can fix it.

Need help or another format?

If any part of this site is hard to use, we are happy to help another way. We can read the menu to you over the phone, answer questions about the shop, or add you to the opening list ourselves.
